Playboy Magazine’s 50th Anniversary Playmate – Colleen Shannon – ” The World’s sexiest DJ” has been popping up all over the place these day’s, starring in major motion pictures, television, magazine covers, major print modeling campaigns, and DJing the biggest superclubs, venues, and events all over the world. In addition to prominent roles in the motion pictures “Sci-Fighter” and “Miss Castaway”, Colleen is the female lead in the upcoming theatrical release “The Passing”, which also stars Paul Gleason (Van Wilder, Not Another Teen Movie, Die Hard). Colleen has also just completed her role as a DJ in the new Shannyn Sossamon (40 Days and 40 Nights, Rules Of Attraction, The Order, A Knights Tale), Gary Busey, Michael Madsen motion picture “Chasing Ghosts”. Her next role will be in the Film “The Gene Generation”, being produced by Dean Devlin (Independence Day, The Patriot), and Kim Winther (The Day After Tomorrow, Daredevil, We Were Soldiers, Freddy got Fingered), and directed by two time New York Film Festival winner Pearry Teo.

And in very hush hush news Colleen has been tapped to play a featured role in a new major motion picture based on a 80′s-90′s hit television series. More on this to come. In the way of television, Colleen has wrapped shooting her role in supe rproducer Barry Josephson’s (“Like Mike”, Tom Hank’s “The Lady Killers”, “Hide and Seek”, Wild Wild West) new TV project “FCR”. Colleen has also been hosting several shows such as the Showtime Network’s new series “VIP Access”, and “The Red Carpet”, interviewing some of the biggest stars in the world, and will be hosting several episodes of “Wild On E!”.

She has also been appearing on numerous television shows ranging from ABC, MTV and FOX, through ESPN, HBO, and the Style networks, and has shot several shows for Much Music in Canada, as well as many music shows in Mexico. Over in the UK she has become a hit sensation due to her staring role on the hit television show “Love Island”. She has also been appearing on and will continue to make appearances on dozens of TV series in the UK. She has just started shooting her roll as the new host of the brand new network series “VIP Passport”. She can also be seen as the lead in several TV commercial campaigns ranging from AT&T to Bacardi, and music videos from Dido to Smashmouth.

There is big modeling news as well. Since being named Playboy Magazine’s 50th Anniversary Playmate, a lot has been happening. Colleen has just signed with the prestigious European Premiere Modeling Agency who also represents super models such as Naomi Campbell and Vendela, as well as movie star/celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Kate Hudson, Lucy Liu, Kelly Brooke, Nikki Hilton, and many, many others, and Identity One PR for PR in the UK.

She will be releasing a 2007 and 2008 worldwide distributed calendar and poster with the same company that produces calendars for sexy stars such as Tera Patrick, and musical giants such as Bob Marley. She has shot a 6 page feature for Maxim, and will be featured on the magazine’s cover insert, and she will be the featured model on the cover of Maxim’s “Behind the Scenes” DVD that will be releasing attached to the issues cover. She has just been featured in Zoo Magazine’s (FHM’s sister mag in the UK) 100 Sexiest Women in the World pictorial along with superstars such as Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, Pam Anderson, and Carmen Electra. Colleen actually debuted in the top 20 along with stars such as Halle Berry and Christina Aguilera! Add to that full features in several international mags such as “Loaded” Magazine “OK” Magazine, “Playboy”, and “FHM”, and many covers including “SuperStreet” (making history as the first female ever to grace the magazine’s cover), “IN”, Canada’s “MUM”, and a major event’s deal with Mac Cosmetics, and it safe to say that you will see her gorgeous face and physique just about everywhere you look. And as if that all wasn’t enough, Playboy will even be releasing a Colleen Shannon, stand alone, International Special Edition magazine, to be followed by an International tour early next year!!! On the musical side of things, there is a lot going on.

Having become known as “The World’s Sexiest DJ”, Colleen has been receiving features in some of the music industries top magazines, including “XXL”, and “Music Connection” just to name a few. She has headlined with Sting in Atlantic City, Snoop Dogg in Vegas, Fat Joe in Trinidad, and Lloyd Banks in Barbados among others, and has shared the stage with some of the biggest DJ’s in the industry including: The Crystal Method, Paul Oakenfold, DJ Rap, Donald Glaude, Funk Master Flex, Jazzy Jeff, Beej, Bad Boy Bill, and many, many others. She has become the industries foremost female celebrity DJ, headlining events coast to coast ranging from the Beverly Hills star studded gala launch of the new fashion line by top designer Joyann with DJ AM covered by every one from Entertainment Tonight, to Access Hollywood, to star studded events thrown by entertainment giants such as Warner Bros. Colleen was the headline DJ at this years Pamela Anderson hosted Mac Cosmetics Fashion Week launch party in New York. Speaking of DJ AM, Colleen has just joined AM, Mark Ronson, Samantha Ronson, and GrandMaster Flash, as the newest resident DJ at the #1 rated celebrity hot spot in the US, Las Vegas’s Pure Night Club. Colleen was the focus of several entire episodes of the new Spike TV series “The Club”. This show goes behind the scenes of club life. Colleen was the focus of the “DJ episode” in which the cameras followed her from the moment in which she got off the plane in the morning, until she performed at the Vegas superclub “ICE” that night. During the episode, 15 of the worlds best DJ’s were flown in to participate in a DJ battle/contest. Colleen judged the contest for world famous producer/DJ Paul Oakenfold and chose the three finalist.

Colleen then returned to the show to introduce the finalists to Paul Oakenfold, and she and Paul judged the finals together. The cameras followed Colleen and Paul as they talked business deals, hung out at the club and judged the finals. The winner of the contest opened up for Paul and Sandra Collins at the club in a later episode. The newest major development is that Colleen has just accomplished something that no other female DJ in history has ever done before. She has just inked a deal with top Performance DJ cartridge and needle/stylus manufacturer ORTOFON to release her very own signature cartridge. To date only a couple of the industries biggest superstar male DJ’s have ever had this honor. Last year, Ortofon (who reps legendary DJ’s such as Grandmaster Flash, and is the official and only cartridge used yearly during the prestigious DMC DJ World Championships) released the “Q” signature cartridge designed and endorsed by Iconic World Champion DJ and turntablist DJ Q-bert. This year Ortofon will unveil the “CS” co-designed and endorsed by Colleen. The set will feature Colleen on the box, and a special surprise inside. In addition, ortofon plans an extensive marketing campaign that will include an international tour, major print campaign, TV spots, and cross promotions with some of their other superstars including Q-bert. The deal is even more impressive when you note that her deal with Ortofon is exclusive, meaning that Colleen and her DGI Artist labelmate/touring partner Tamara Sky will be the only North American based female DJ’s to be given endorsement deals by Ortofon for some time to come. They will also be the only female DJ’s to be repped by ortofon on a world wide level!!! At this years Winter Music Conference in Miami, Colleen was seen everywhere (literally).

Her new deal with Mackie meant that her image and name (along with DJ Muggs of Cypress Hill on the other side) was used in all it’s glory on no less than 100 taxis which ran up and down the city for the duration of the conference and beyond. Billboards and posters of Colleen representing the brand were also all over the city, and on the backdrop of the stage during the International Dance Music Awards, where Colleen presented along with other lady DJ’s of note including Kelly Rowland (Destiny’s Child), Rhiannon, Sandra Collins and DJ Rap. In addition to shooting her new roll as the host and DJ of the brand new network series “VIP Passport”, Colleen is currently working on the title track to two motion pictures with her producing partner “Poet Name Life” (Black Eyed Peas, Fergie’s solo album, Justin Timberlake, Travis Barker/Blink-182, Will.i.am., Mya, David Foster), and is in the middle of negotiating her first major record deal with one of the industries biggest labels. Her 1st album, which features superstars like Will.i.am (of Black Eyed Peas), Seth AKA Shifty Capone (Crazytown), Bad Boy Bill, Donald Glaude, and many others soon to be announced. Colleen was also a headline performer along with many major recording artist’s and DJ’s at this years ESPN X-Games.

Colleen recently presented an award along with the Crystal Method, world famous producers Don Was (Rolling Stones), and JJP (No Doubt) at the DTS Surround Sound Awards, honoring such artists as Beck, BT, Elton John, and Herbie Hancock. Colleen has just returned from the UK where she played 7 of the hottest clubs in London including a performance at China White attended by many celebs including Janet Jackson and Jermaine Duprie, and several venues in Ireland. The press was enormous. She will even be presenting an award at one of the UK’s biggest and most prestigious award ceremonies, the MOBO Awards which will feature performances by Beyonce and Justin Timberlake. You’ll be able to see her spin at DJ dates throughout the new Year that include Japan, Australia, Germany, Spain, Paris, London, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Sweden, Puerto Rico, Europe, Switzerland, Indonesia, Ireland, Ibiza, Mexico, South Africa, as well as the US.

After thirteen years of hard work and dedication behind the tables, Brian Dawe has established himself as one of the most noteworthy names in the nightclub DJ circuit. He has been very active as a DJ, radio host, television personality, and remix producer playing well over a thousand events – and still counting. He has played numerous events for Fortune 500 companies, celebrity clients, and has spun vinyl alongside and opened for countless popular acts. Rihanna, Ke$ha, Avicii, Steve Aoki, Alesso, Travie McCoy, Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship, Dev, Busta Rhymes, Trick Daddy, DJ Khaled and 2 Live Crew are just a small sampling of artists he has rocked the stage with.

Dawe has rocked some of the biggest venues in the country including House of Blues Orlando, Ford Amphitheater Tampa, Hilton Anatole Dallas, W Hotel Los Angeles, Sofitel Los Angeles, and Mekka Miami. He was the runner-up in the South Eastern RedBull Thr3style DJ battle (narrowly beaten out by the nationwide contest winner) and a three-time Ultra Music Festival performer. Brian’s club circuit success gained him corporate clients including Sprint, Hyundai, Hewlett Packard, L’Oréal Paris, and eBay Motors. Not something many DJs can boast, Dawe performed at a private event for Prince Moulay Rachid of Morocco.

Production is another skill that sets Dawe apart. He is a remix producer for the largest DJ remix website in the world, CrooklynClan.net, where he has sold hundreds of tracks that are being played in nightclubs all across the world on a nightly basis.

In 2009, Brian was diagnosed with cancer. Not content to give up without a fight, Brian rallied behind the support of his friends, family, and music community – and pushed through a remission. Fast forward to early 2013, Brian just finished an appearance on VH1’s hit series Master of the Mix – a reality-themed DJ talent competition; an amazing accomplishment considering his struggle and recovery four years prior. Now, he hopes he can share his message of living life, having hope, and pursuing your dreams to everyone.

His energetic antics, infectious positive attitude, exclusive remixes, and turntable skills have become some of the most sought after sights and sounds from coast to coast. As of the spring of 2013, Dawe is as healthy as ever. His focus continues to be on playing music, inspiring others, and living life to the fullest. Dawe currently is touring across the United States playing arenas, nightclubs and everything in between.

“You have to live your life to the fullest, because only you can take charge of your success. Plan your work, then work your plan.” – Brian Dawe

“Club Lights. Sleepless Nights. Missed Flights” features music from all genres and tracks from artists such as A$AP Rocky, Bingo Players, TJR, Calvin Harris, Juicy J, Flux Pavilion and Kendrick Lamar. Crafting this mixtape was no easy task. With a busy February and March crammed with bookings, residencies, auditions, castings, filming and of course – the requisite traveling between all of the above – Brian worked tirelessly whenever he had a spare moment. Pouring over 1,000 hours of scratching and sampling has yielded him a mixtape second-to-none.

“I’m not a glitch in the matrix, but when people see me they should know I’m not a guy who’s a follower and I’m not afraid to be different. When I moved out to L.A. from the East Coast to pursue my music, I didn’t chase what other people were doing; I did my own thing. I started making bootlegs and sampling everything and I stopped caring about what people thought about my music. I just came up with my own brand of quirky, bouncy house that blurred the lines between house, techno and electro. Then people like Fatboy Slim and Chuckie started playing my records like ‘Booty Move’ and my remixes of Tupac’s ‘California Love’ and Surecut Kids’ ‘Drunk In This’, and things snowballed from there. Whenever people ask me about my style, I just tell people I’m a product of the 90s because we grew up on all this different shit being thrown at us. I’d be listening to the Beastie Boys, The Doors, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Fiona Apple, Bob Marley. I was all over the place, but it didn’t matter back then. The music I was into was honest; it had substance. That’s the most important thing to me, and that’s what I try to create with my music. A lot of my production is very diverse, at one end I have people like Claude Vonstroke and Umek supporting me, and at the other end I have people like Knife Party. ‘Funky Vodka’ is probably the track I’m most proud of; it was pretty cool to see an old school sample-based house tune make it to the overall No.1 spot on Beatport. Producing fulfills my creative side, but DJing is my release. I’m almost snapping crossfaders off mixers because I’m so amped up; I just want to get up there and destroy everything. I want people to come away from my sets thinking that TJR brought something that we’re not used to seeing anymore. Too many DJs and performers nowadays just stand up there and stare into their laptops like a deer in headlights. For me, there still needs to be a stage performance; you still need showmanship. I grew up listening to mixtapes from Chicago house DJs like Badboy Bill and Terry Mullan, these guys brought hip hop turntable techniques to house music and made it acceptable. I do a lot of scratching, I throw a lot of samples in and work the faders. I want people to see there’s actually something going on behind the decks. For me, that always creates the best vibe and the most energy. I want people to let loose. I want them to let out their inner freak. Be as weird as you want—I’m going to be weirder than anyone up on stage.” – TJR

Poised at his laptop, where he’s masterminding his newest mix, Vice® flashes a smile and says, “I love what I do. There’s no part of me that wakes up and is like, ‘Dang. I have to go to work.’ To still have that newness driving me is a good thing.”

While he’s still a young man, Vice® is also an industry veteran approaching his 20-year mark. The LA native discovered his passion for spinning records at the age of 12, when he bought his first turntables. Like most musically precocious kids, he came into that world by hearing – and falling in love with – what his older brother and older sister were playing. “I’d borrow from my sister’s collection of Air Supply, Blondie, Depeche Mode and Madonna records. My brother would have the Cure and Morrissey and I would buy hip-hop and house records.”

Vice® likes to mix these types of artists along with newer music into his sets, which is unusual for the always-current world of club DJ-ing. “I’ve always been a multi-genre DJ,” he says. “I’ve always been a music lover. A lot of DJ’s stick to one format. I’ve never been that DJ. Ever since I’ve started I’ve always played all types of music. It stems from being a house party DJ, a wedding DJ, a high school dance DJ, a radio DJ. I’ve always done so many kinds of things as a DJ that it’s brought me to where I’m at right now. My set has something for anybody and everybody.”

Vice®’s first big break came in 1998, when he started playing hip-hop records on LA’s Power 106 for a listenership of 1.6 million. “It really tightened up my skills. It was always live, with vinyl, and there was no going back and fixing things.”

In 2002, Vice® saw new opportunities emerging in Las Vegas at the huge clubs that were starting to open and left his radio job. He began with a residency at Body English in the Hard Rock Hotel and later moved to the mega-club Tao, where he still has a residency. The move to Vegas has been a huge game-changer for him, exposing him to an international audience. DJ Vice has now played all over the world, including Shanghai, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Norway, Germany and Istanbul.

Vegas has also embraced Vice®’s other venture: the wildly popular CRSVR, a boutique that sells top of the line sneakers. Vice® opened the first store in Santa Barbara three years ago and just this year opened CRSVR at the Cosmopolitan on the Strip. It’s a Nike tier zero store, which means that it sells the very first top of the line Nikes the minute they’re available. Vice® also gave CRSVR his own twist by setting up a DJ booth in the store.

On the horizon, Vice® is ready to start producing original music and is in the process of working with songwriters. Over the years, he’s broadened his knowledge of production by being in the studio with Christina Aguilera, Timbaland, Mariah Carey, Pharrell and Lady Gaga among others. “They’d turn and ask my opinion. ‘Would this work in a club?’ And I’d be honest with them.”

Despite this shift toward producing, Vice® has no intention of transitioning out of performing at clubs. His goal is to play his own tracks at his events where he can experience the immediacy of the crowd’s response, because that’s what he thrives on. “The biggest compliment I get is when people come up to me and say ‘I was having the worst day but now I feel so happy. I don’t even dance and you had me dancing.’”

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Justin has always had a passion for music. Justin began Dj’ing at the age of 16 at local house parties and school functions. As soon as Justin fell in love with Hip Hop, he quickly became enthusiastic about Dj’ing. “I have always felt impassioned about entertaining people through music and dance.” After high school, Justin took his talents on the road, from Fresno Ca. to Palm Springs Ca., then landing in Las Vegas in 2000. It was in Las Vegas where Justin got his stride. He worked at the local radio station as an Imaging Director, and pursued his dream of Dj’ing at some of the hottest Clubs in the city. There is no other city in the world like Las Vegas. I can say with great enthusiasm, Las Vegas will always hold a special place in my heart.”

Just like the city that never sleeps, neither does Justin…

From Las Vegas, it was on to San Diego where Justin was Wide Awake! He was hired at XHTZ/ Jammin Z90 to be the Imaging Director, hosted a weekend radio show, and Dj’ed at clubs across the city. In 2003, another dream came true; Justin became Music Director at Jammin Z90.

One year later, Justin landed his dream radio Job at Power 106 in Los Angeles. “It feels good to be home.” He became the Imaging Director and immediately used his resources to create a nationally syndicated show “The Top Ten Celebrity Countdown” which airs in over 20 cities across the country.

Justin continues to strive for more. Not only is Justin one of the top Imaging Directors in the country, he now is a part of the Power Mixer family. Justin mixes daily with DJ Felli Fel on the Power 7 at 7 Countdown. Additionally, you can listen to Justin on Wednesday nights on Power 106 at Midnight on the Take Over Show with DJ Reflex and the Los Angeles Leakers.

Justin has an amazing strive and dedication to be the BEST at everything he does. He is always willing to go above and beyond, and do whatever it takes to get the job done with impeccable perfection. Justin is a huge Los Angeles Lakers Fan and admires artists Jay-Z, Diddy, Kanye West, Ryan Leslie, Common, and John Legend.

Justin has successfully attempted to take what he has learned thus far, and create his own niche in the entertainment world that sets him apart from others. With a unique style on the Mic, and an eclectic ear for Great Music, Just-N-Credible can be heard DJ’ing everything from Hip Hop, Top 40, to 80′s and more, Justin not only wants to be known as an International DJ, he wants to venture into the world of producing music, and put his mark on the fashion industry.
The sky is the limit for Justin.

“Life isn’t about finding yourself… It’s about creating yourself.”
